Frozen crickets – insects

Sizes and Options

• Subadult – large, soft body with an undeveloped exoskeleton, making them easy to digest. Ideal for medium to large insectivores, especially juveniles or recovering animals.
• Middle – small, soft-bodied crickets with an undeveloped exoskeleton, highly digestible. Best suited for small insectivores, young animals, or weakened individuals.

All crickets can be separated with ease, allowing for more accurate and convenient feeding.

Usage

Frozen crickets should be thawed at room temperature for approximately 30 to 60 minutes prior to feeding. For faster preparation, they can be rinsed with lukewarm water.

Thaw only the amount needed for immediate use and consume as soon as possible. To maintain both quality and nutritional value, it is best to avoid refreezing products.

Storage

Store in a freezer at -18°C or below.
